In the middle of the night on August 31, 2018 — 20 hours into a 24 hour charity podcast — I called Mac Miller. He answered. We talked. And then he helped, in a major way.

A week later, we lost him.

I’ll always cherish this. I can’t believe it’s been two years, today. I’ll always miss him.
